Epic! Originals
Epic! Originals are unique stories filled with humor and heart that combine high-interest topics with relatable social themes to meet kids exactly where they are on their journey through childhood. Make new friends at a summer camp for quirky creatures. Solve mysteries at the bottom of the ocean with a mermaid and narwhal. Learn how to care for a pet made out of slime. These are just a few examples of stories that have captured the attention and imagination of millions of young readers.
Written and illustrated by some of the top talent in children’s publishing, each book is thoughtfully created in collaboration with an expert educational consultant specializing in children’s media to maximize both the entertainment and learning value of each story. Previously in digital format on Epic!, these irresistible books are now available in print for the first time ever.
About Epic!
Inspired by their own children, cofounders Suren Markosian and Kevin Donahue created Epic! to nurture a lifelong love of reading and learning in kids everywhere. Their solution was to build a platform that made it as fun and easy to access high-quality books on devices as it was to play games and watch videos. Then they offered the service for free to schools so that all kids could enjoy them.
Today, Epic! is the world’s largest digital reading platform for kids, providing more than 10 million children safe access to its vast library of 35,000 books, videos, and audiobooks.
